It is highly recommended by many nutritionists to be included in the diet on a daily basis.   

Below are a few no-bake recipes for lazy days when one wants to indulge in tasty food that is healthy and easy to cook.

Coconut Vanilla Cookies:

This recipe suppresses sudden hunger pangs as well as satisfies the sweet-tooth and leaves a person feeling full and energetic.  

Prep time: 30 mins


  • ½ cup Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 1 cup honey
  • ½ cup cocoa powder                   
  • 2 cup rolled oats                    
  • 1 cup peanut butter                    
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes                    
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • Mix honey, VCO and cocoa powder in a bowl and bring to boil for 2 mins.
  • Stir oats, butter, coconut flakes and vanilla extract into the hot mixture until smooth.
  • Spread a spoonful of mixture onto waxed paper into the desired shape and size
  • Cool until the batter is firm
  • Enjoy the Cookies!


Coconut Banana Cream Bites:

Try this nutritious, healthy yet sumptuous coconut recipe to feel full without feeling guilty for the rest of the day.

Prep time: 15 mins


For Crust

  • 4 pitted dates
  • ¾ cup coconut flakes
  • ½ tablespoon virgin coconut oil
  • ⅛ tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 ½  cup unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)

For Filling

  • ⅓ cup coconut cream concentrate
  • ¼ cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1 full banana
  • 2 tablespoon Virgin coconut oil
  • ⅛ tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ tablespoon honey(optional)



  • Arrange for silicon cups
  • Mix all the ingredients for the crust in a blender until sticky.
  • Scoop a ½ tablespoon of the mixture into each cup


  • Heat the coconut cream concentrate gently.
  • Mix the remaining ingredients for the filling in a blender with the warm coconut cream concentrate until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into the crusts.
  • Freeze the mixture until they are firm.
  • Remove the bites from silicon cups
  • Serve and enjoy or store it in a freezer for future use.

Coconut Bars:

These coconut bars are a treat to all those health-conscious people who want to dive into indulgence without feeling guilty.

Prep time: 30 mins


  • ⅔ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 cups walnuts or almond (as preferred)
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey


  • Spread the shredded coconut evenly on a baking sheet and warm it in a preheated 350-degree oven for 2-4 mins until brown.
  • Place nuts in the baking sheet after removing the shredded coconut and place it in an oven for 5 mins until they are sweet-smelling.
  • Thoroughly mix the shredded coconut, dates, salt and nuts in a processor until properly crushed.
  • Add orange zest, honey and VCO in the above mixture and blend until the mixture becomes solid and forms a lump.
  • Arrange for a baking pan and parchment paper or grease the pan with VCO.
  • Softly spread the mixture all over the pan and let it freeze for 15 mins.
  • Slice it in the form of rectangular bars or any other desired shape.
  • Serve and Enjoy or Store it in the refrigerator.
